I made the jump because I finally realized...
I went from Teacher of the Year
to walking out mid-year
My Journey out of teaching
Teaching was my childhood dream.
I wanted to be the teacher who made learning fun, who made students feel seen, who made a real impact. I knew it would be hard. I didn't expect it to slowly take over my entire life.
By year six, I was exhausted. I wasn't teaching — I was planning, grading, and trying to recover enough energy to do it all again. I felt parts of myself disappear. I started looking for a way out. Nothing felt right — until I found Virtual Assistance.
For the first time, I found work that gave me freedom, balance, and income that reflected my skill set. It changed my life. And now I help other burnt-out teachers build their own exit.
